Background work that runs on a timer rather than when you ask for it. Three timers leave a mark: one every five minutes, which also carries your workflows forward a few steps at a time and checks each expectation you declared so a missed one is reported once, one once a day that rechecks every audit trail end to end, and one once a day that re-reads every connected tool server's list against the one you approved. The five-minute timer does several jobs, and each one leaves its own mark, so a job that stops is visible even while the timer it rides on keeps running. This row reads how old each mark is, against its own schedule, so a stopped five-minute timer shows within fifteen minutes and a stopped daily one within a day.
